Beatrice's Diary

This is a reconstruction of “The Diary of Beatrice Rose Endicott,” which was once published on TOT1899.com. Back in 2006 it was created in Flash, but since Flash has been discontinued in modern browsers, the diary text has been preserved while the interaction design and visual presentation have been rebuilt using current web technologies.

This diary recounts events from 1897 to 1912 from the perspective of Beatrice Rose Endicott, an important character in the Tower of Terror story. It offers insight into Beatrice's thoughts and the events leading up to the hotel tour, making it a valuable record for understanding not only Tower of Terror itself but the broader world of American Waterfront area in greater depth.

The multiple entries dated August 22, 1912, in the latter half of this diary are linked to the “Hotel Tour Game,” which can also be played on TOT1899.com, and they reveal Beatrice's feelings that were never expressed in the game itself.
