Message Card

Message Card was added to TOT1899.com in April 2007, about six months after the attraction opened, as an additional promotion for the attraction.

By entering your own name, a friend's name, and your impressions or personal experience of the attraction as a message, you could create a card styled after The New York Globe Telegraph. After creation, a share link was issued, and you could share the card by giving that link to a friend.

In this recreation, I rebuilt the original Message Card feature, which was implemented in Flash, using modern web technologies. The sharing feature has been adapted for the present day, so cards can also be shared on social networks and other platforms that did not exist at the time.
